Eye-catching and functional finish
For this project, Laramno provided the surface treatment of metal lids for cisterns. These lids are placed in an outdoor environment and must therefore be resistant to various weather conditions and mechanical stresses for a long period of time.

A strong coating always starts with proper preparation of the metal. In this project, the lids were first completely blasted. Blasting removes impurities, rust and old layers, creating a clean and slightly rough surface.
This allows the coating to adhere optimally and the protective layer to last longer.
Durable powder coating
After pretreatment, the metal lids received a powder coating as the final layer. Powder coating is a widely used technique in the industry because it forms a strong and wear-resistant protective layer.

Opvallende en functionele afwerking
The lids were given a bright green finish. Not only does this color provide a recognizable look, but it can also be functional. In many applications, a striking color makes parts more visible for maintenance or inspection.
